Keith Gillespie
Caps - 73

Gillespie is one of Northern Irelands greatest players and is still representing his nation today. He made his international debut in the year 1994 and has now won 73 caps for Northern Ireland. He started his career off with Manchester united before moving to Newcastle United in 1995 and nearly won the title with the club twice. He spent five years with Blackburn between 1998 and 2003 and is now playing his football in the premiership with Sheffield United.

Michael Hughes
Caps – 73

Hughes career really took of when he signed for Strasbourg in the summer of 1992 from Manchester city. In July 1996, he moved on to play for Wimbledon FC and moved on top play for Crystal palace in 2003. He has won a total of 73 caps for Northern Ireland and has scored five goals for his nation. He was part of the side that attempted top qualify for Euro 2000.

Neil Lennon
Caps – 40

Neil Lennon made a total of 40 appearances for Northern Ireland and was installed as captain of the national side at one point. Lennon made his football debut during the 1989 – 1990 seasons playing for Manchester city before signing for Crewe Alexandra in 1990, spending six years at the club until 1996. Lennon later on had spells playing for Leicester City and Celtic. He is still currently playing for Celtic FC in Scotland.

Ian Dowie
Caps - 59

Ian Dowie’s Northern Ireland football career spanned a total of 10 years between 1990 and 2000, making 59 appearances for his nation and scoring 12 goals. Dowie started his professional career off playing for Hendon FC between 1987 and 1988 before signing for Luton Town, playing for the club between 1988 and 1991. He later on enjoyed spells playing for West Ham, Southampton, Crystal Palace and QPR, retiring from playing in 2001.
