Colin Clarke

Clarke made a total of 38 appearances for the Northern Ireland football team and played during the 1986 world cup. In total, Colin Clarke scored 13 goals for Northern Ireland, at one point that made whim their top ever goal scorer. He scored a hat trick in a fine 5-0 win over the Faroe Islands during their Euro 92 qualifying campaign in 1991. He is Northern Ireland's second top goal scorer. He played in the English football league for Bournemouth, Portsmouth FC, Southampton and Queens Park Rangers, scoring a prolific 146 goals in only 361 matches.
Tommy Wright

Wright was a permanent fixture in the Irish squad during many time periods in the 1990’s and was consistent in goal for the Irish. He has played in goal for a host of football clubs, including, Reading, Hull City, Newcastle United, Wrexham and Bolton Wanderers. He has also been a Northern Ireland goal keeping coach.
Gerry Taggart

Taggart made a total of 51 appearances for the Northern Ireland national team and was a member of the side that nearly qualified for the 1994 world cup finals. He started his career off playing for Manchester City between 1989 -90. He later on enjoyed a five year spell playing for Barnsley, leaving for Bolton in 1995, spending three years at the club. He later on had spells playing for Leicester City and Stoke City.
Jim Magilton

Magilton was an outstanding midfield player for the Northern Irish and has made a total of 52 appearances for his nation during his career. He started his career off with oxford United between 1990 and 1994 before playing for Southampton until 1997, he played for Sheffield Wednesday between 1997 and 1999 and finished his playing career at Ipswich Town, he is currently the manger of Ipswich. |
